Just about every team in the FBS is halfway through their regular season, and boy was this a tough week for me too picking the games. As the saying goes, “That’s a bold strategy, cotton.” Picking the no.1 team to lose at home? perhaps too far. I at least had more backing and reason on actually picking Arizona to beat USC in the Coliseum even though that ended up being a near-miss. At least I did pick a game correctly (Thanks Western Kentucky for not scoring after halftime!). I also underestimated Louisville, and Texas perhaps isn’t back yet, folks.

Regardless of the outcome from the Red River Rivalry, it seemed inevitable we might see a rematch of it in Arlington, with it having more serious implications. Oregon-Washington has serious implications too, though I don’t expect too many upsets. The one upset I do have among ranked teams is Notre Dame over USC, as I recall that USC hasn’t won a game outside the pacific time zone since they won at Syracuse in the 2012 season. I anticipate that will change once they officially play in the Big Ten.
